Celebrity host Guy Fieri, of Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” fame, is launching a new brand of cigars. He has teamed up with Erik Espinosa of Espinosa Premium Cigars to blend the soon to be released cigar brand Knuckle Sandwich Cigars.
Espinosa says that Fieri has been very hands-on and an intricate part of the process, stating “Fieri’s passion for cigars is as genuine as his love for foods he profiles on his show.” Guy’s a cigar guy, loves to smoke, and is super excited about this project.” The project is reported to have taken about 18 months. The new line will be made in Ocotal, Nicaragua at the AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano Cigar S.A. factory.
The Knuckle Sandwich will have two blends to choose from. A Habano that will have an Ecuador Havana wrapper and a Maduro that will feature a Ecuador Sumatra wrapper. Each will have Nicaraguan binder and filler. Both will come in 20 count boxes of the same three sizes with a slight difference in the price.
